Group Project (324)

CSC 324 included a group project. The purpose of the project was to employ agile software development to build a product for a real client using R and Shiny. My particular portion of the project focused on how well students were achieving the desired outcome of their classes and how satisfied instructors were with their class. The real insight the visualizations I made offer was in observing a correlation (or lack there of) between these two variables.
Because of privacy concerns, the demo uses exclusively artificial data. Because of this, the content communicated through the visualizations lacks any of the interesting insights the real data might offer. Additionally, many filters will filter out all the sample data, an issue our team knew won’t be an issue for our client who received the product.
